| Commentaires | La cuvée Rosso Isabella composée à 100% de Merlot de Sicile, réalisée uniquement sur les meilleurs millésimes, porte le nom de l’épouse de Giovanni Boroli. Sa robe est d’un rouge rubis intense. C’est un vin ample avec de délicates notes de fruits noirs, de myrtille et de mûrs. Bien structuré avec des tanins soyeux et une belle allonge, il sera idéal accompagné de viandes cuites au four. |

| Le domaine | L’Azienda crée par Giovanni Boroli et sa femme Isabella dès lors arrivée en Sicile en 2004, cultive essentiellement des arbres fruitiers. Ils ont commencé à planter 7 ha de vignes dès 2005. Elle se situe à une altitude de 160 à 220 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer dans la commune de Rosolini au sud de la Sicile, à cheval entre les provinces de Siracusa et Ragusa. Le vignoble d’environ 7 hectares est planté majoritairement de cépages autochtones (Grillo, Catarratto, Moscato di Noto, Nero d’Avola, Nero Mascalese). Il y a une également une petite superficie plantée de Merlot et de Chardonnay. |
