| Storage |
You can store your decanters in a cupboard or in their original carton. However, they will always accumulate dirt no matter how they are stored. |
| Before use |
To remove those unwanted tastes of cardboard, dust or cabinetry, you’ll need to envine your decanter. Pour in a few centilitres of wine, stir gently, then discard the few centilitres that have served as a cleaning agent. Now it’s ready to receive the wine. |
| To keep your decanters in good condition |
Wash your Ypsilon 1.0 l Wine Carafe inside and out quickly after use. Remove any residues, stains, wine residues or fingerprints. However, if it’s not possible to wash your wine decanter immediately after use, fill it with water so that the wine doesn’t stick, making cleaning easier. Dry the outside, then turn the decanter upside down onto a drying stand. Once the last drops have run off, remove any traces of water with a clean microfiber cloth. |
| Machine washable |
This decanter is suitable for machine washing, but use the dishwasher only as a last resort. Be sure to use a gentle wash cycle, avoid the heat-dry cycle and separate the jugs so they don’t clash. However, since dishwashers tend to leave some residue, you’ll get better long-term results by washing by hand. |
