THE SPIRIT OF WINE
L’ESPRIT DU VIN is first and foremost a “home wine shop”.
It’s very common to have wine in your glass, but it’s not just a drink to quench your thirst. Wine is a story of sharing, a thousand-year-old culture, a never-ending universe. Our aim is to offer you wines that have something to tell you, through a symphony of tastes, aromas and colors. We also want you to discover the work of the winemaker, from the vine to the cellar, so that you can fully appreciate the world of wine and therefore… the spirit of wine.
FOUNDER
Through a love of wine, fine food and a course at theÉcole du Vin de Changins, Sébastien Lohrmann decided in 2014 to embark on his own independent adventure. This was the beginning of a process of research and tasting that took him to numerous vineyards in Switzerland, France and Italy. Thus was born his first selection of wines, which has grown every year to include new nuggets from his “Wine Trip”.
TODAY
After many uncorked bottles and organized tastings, a small group of people from different backgrounds, but who share the same values and a common passion, s’formed. Now a small community, L’ESPRIT DU VIN counts 3 more people who enthusiastically contribute to discovering and selecting new wines. Since the end of 2019 we have also entered the digital age thanks to the zealous collaboration of one of our followers.
