The average age of the vines is 30 years. They are located on the limestone plateau of the Causses (clay-limestone) and on the third terrace of the Lot valley (clay-siliceous). The rows are grassed over, and the work beneath them is done mechanically. Leaf removal and thinning are done manually.

Carbonic maceration for 12 days, using indigenous yeasts and without added sulfites. Pressing and completion of fermentation in the liquid phase. Aged for 4 months in concrete tanks before bottling.

Château Les Croisille

The Domaine was established in 1979 in Fages, in the commune of Luzech, by Bernard and Cécile Croisille. After hard work clearing the land and planting their first porcini mushrooms, they waited until 1984 for their first harvest, which they delivered to a cooperative. They quickly decided to take the next step and produce their own wine, which was released in 1994. They then purchased the Domaine, which they had been leasing, and thus became the official owners. The entire estate is certified organic and biodynamic.

Southwest

Between the Atlantic, the Pyrenees and the Garonne Valley, the Southwest is a wine region of exceptional richness. This vast territory, with its varied landscapes, is home to a multitude of appellations with strong identities.

The climate here oscillates between oceanic and mountain influences, creating ideal conditions for a wide diversity of grape varieties. Unique local varieties such as Malbec, Tannat, and Petit Manseng are found here, giving rise to powerful, expressive, and aromatic wines.
