Description

Himalayan pink salt is considered one of the purest salts in the world because it has not been exposed to atmospheric or marine pollution. Its origin lies in the evaporation of the seas tens of millions of years ago. Harvested in the Punjab region of northern Pakistan, it was already in use during the time of Alexander the Great. Its color comes from the oxidation of the iron atoms it contains. Rich in trace elements, it is used, of course, in cooking to add originality and color to your dishes, but also in body care. It is believed to have numerous therapeutic properties.

Himalayan pink salt is used in crystal or powder form. In cooking, it can be used to season meats, salads, or vegetables. It can also be used to decorate a dish.
