Description

Volvito is a Ciro Rosso Superiore from eastern Calabria. Made entirely from the indigenous Gaglioppo grape, it is a powerful and tannic wine. It develops beautiful notes of red fruit with a hint of cocoa. Its tannins are firm and somewhat rustic. It has a solid structure and finishes with good length on the palate. A truly authentic Calabrian wine, regularly praised by Italian critics.

This 150-hectare estate, born in 1963 from the union of 2 families with a long agricultural and winemaking tradition, Caparra & Siciliani, is located in the province of Crotone on the Ionian coast.

Calabria
