The vineyard is characterized by small terraces supported by dry stone walls on a steep slope, making mechanization impossible. Consequently, all vineyard work is done by hand. The grapes for this cuvée are a blend from several parcels in Follatères, Plamont, and Euloz. They are all located between the bottom and the top of the Fully hillside.

Aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks, then bottled in the spring. No malolactic fermentation.

Cave des Amandiers

Founded in 2008, it is one of the youngest wineries in Valais. After vinifying its first vintage in a small chalet, then in a tractor garage in Fully, the winery has been located in the municipality of Saillon since 2011. Although the winemaking facilities are recent, the work remains essentially artisanal. The vineyard is characterized by small terraces supported by dry stone walls. The steep slope prevents any mechanization, so the work in the vineyards is exclusively done by hand.

Valais

Valais is the largest wine-growing region in Switzerland. It benefits from a unique climate: abundant sunshine, low rainfall, and significant temperature variations between day and night. These conditions promote perfect grape ripeness while preserving freshness and balance.

This climatic and geological diversity (steep terraces, schist, limestone, or alluvial soils) gives rise to a wide variety of grape varieties. Alongside international classics like Pinot Noir and Syrah, Valais is the cradle of unique local specialties: Petite Arvine, Humagne, Cornalin, and Amigne. These indigenous grape varieties, often found nowhere else, reflect the singular character and strong identity of the Valais vineyards.

Valais wines are prized for their aromatic richness, balance, and freshness. Blending tradition and modernity, the region stands out as a prime destination for lovers of characterful wines.
