The estate covers 14 hectares, 6.5 hectares of which are forests and deciduous trees that act as a natural lung during the summer months, helping to cool and moderate the air. The vineyards cover 7.5 hectares and are situated on clay-limestone soil with sandy veins. They benefit from excellent sun exposure. The Silio cru is located in the northeastern part of the municipality of La Morra. Hail nets are installed to protect the precious Nebbiolo grapes. Natural grass cover grows between the rows, and green harvesting takes place in July. The grapes are then hand-harvested in October at optimal ripeness into 20 kg perforated crates.
