A single-plot vineyard in the commune of Fully. The soil is loess (rock flour resulting from erosion) over gneiss and some moraine. At the foot of these vines lies a 10-meter-high gneiss outcrop, a remnant of the crystalline massif of the Aiguilles Rouges. The grapes for this Petite Arvine de Fully are harvested exclusively by hand. Arvine is the emblem of the Fully vineyard. The harvest takes place in two passes between September 26th and October 4th.

The berries were perfectly ripe. The pressing was very gentle. Approximately 50% underwent pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation was carried out using indigenous yeasts. Vinification took place in tanks, with lees stirring as needed. Indigenous yeasts were used. The wine was then aged on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks for approximately 8 months.

Benoît Dorsaz

In 1986, Benoît Dorsaz took over the family estate. He then undertook the replanting of the vineyard, the renovation and expansion of the family cellar, with the support of his wife, Maryline. Little by little, the estate was enlarged, allowing the couple to run a high-performing, artisanal operation. Over 30 years in the business, Benoît has carved out his own path in the Swiss wine industry, and his wines reflect what he loves: clarity, elegance, and precision.

Valais

Valais is the largest wine-growing region in Switzerland. It benefits from a unique climate: abundant sunshine, low rainfall, and significant temperature variations between day and night. These conditions promote perfect grape ripeness while preserving freshness and balance.

This climatic and geological diversity (steep terraces, schist, limestone, or alluvial soils) gives rise to a wide variety of grape varieties. Alongside international classics like Pinot Noir and Syrah, Valais is the cradle of unique local specialties: Petite Arvine, Humagne, Cornalin, and Amigne. These indigenous grape varieties, often found nowhere else, reflect the singular character and strong identity of the Valais vineyards.

Valais wines are prized for their aromatic richness, balance, and freshness. Blending tradition and modernity, the region stands out as a prime destination for lovers of characterful wines.
