Roue Libre, Pastis genevois, Frédéric Verne

Regular price CHF 45.00

Description

This artisanal Swiss aperitif is made with 11 botanicals. Its distinctive character comes from the use of wormwood, also known as wild absinthe, as well as chamomile and peppermint, which give it a unique, floral flavor. Unlike milky pastis, it is made without added sugar or essential oils. It can also be enjoyed as a digestif with an ice cube or two.

Food and wine pairings

Enjoy as an aperitif, but also as a digestif for its very aromatic and airy character.

Frédéric Verne

Frédéric Verne, a watchmaker by training, decided to leave high-precision mechanics behind to dedicate himself fully to his passion for distillation. His Pastis is the result of a long, controlled distillation process in Geneva and Fechy. A great fan of absinthe, Frédéric wanted to create a pastis that captured some of its characteristic aromatic markers. His version is also lighter and more fragrant.
