Description

Merlot wine glass, 55 cl, from the German brand Spiegelau. Designed in collaboration with and at the initiative of the Swiss company Univerre. Available in cases of 6.

Design

This glass, made using Kwarx technology, combines high resistance, lasting brilliance, and enhanced transparency. Its smooth surface and durability are preserved. Its long-lasting shine has been tested in the laboratory after more than 2,000 industrial washes. Finally, its absolute transparency, achieved through complete decolorization of the glass, allows the full chromatic range of each wine to be perfectly displayed.

The Merlot wine glass, designed with meticulous attention to detail, is therefore suitable for tasting a wide variety of wines. Thanks to the choice of materials and its slightly closed shape, it concentrates aromas and intensifies the bouquet of your finest wines.

You can store your glasses in a cupboard or in their original box. But wash your glasses before and after using them. They will always accumulate dirt no matter how they are stored. Rinse them quickly with warm water, then dry them thoroughly with a clean microfiber or linen cloth. If using a linen cloth, be careful of excessive lint buildup if the cloth is new.

Use the dishwasher only as a last resort and only for cleaning solid wine glasses (never crystal glasses). Be sure to use a delicate wash cycle, avoid the heat drying cycle, and separate the glasses so they don't clink together. However, since dishwashers tend to leave some residue, you'll get better results in the long run by washing by hand.

Wash your wine glasses promptly, inside and out, after use. Remove any residue, stains, wine remnants, lipstick marks, or fingerprints. However, if washing your wine glasses immediately isn't possible, fill them with water to prevent the wine from sticking, making cleaning easier. Then, dry the glasses immediately with a clean microfiber cloth to prevent watermarks.
