Daniela Piccoli's Amarone is a superb, limited-production wine (approximately 6,000 bottles annually). Its deep ruby-red color first captivates the eye, followed by an intense nose revealing aromas of ripe fruits like cherry and raspberry, along with hints of spice, menthol, tobacco, and cedar. On the palate, it is a rich and powerful wine, yet remarkably light and airy. It is balanced, elegant, and refined. A marvel!
Food and wine pairings
The Amarone Monte la Parte 2013 will be perfectly enjoyed with fine cuts of red meat in sauce, game, and mature cheeses.
Winemaking
The grapes are gently crushed and pressed with rigorous temperature control to extract the most intense and refined aromas. Regular pump-overs and rackings are performed. A short period in stainless steel tanks is followed by aging in 30-hectoliter French oak casks and 350- and 550-liter barrels for a minimum of 60 months. After this extended period, the wine returns to stainless steel tanks for a few months before finishing with a year of bottle aging.
Azienda Piccoli

Veneto
Located in northeastern Italy, between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, Veneto is one of the country's most prestigious and export-oriented wine regions. Its temperate climate, varied topography, and mineral-rich soils provide ideal conditions for a wide diversity of grape varieties and wine styles.
The region is world-renowned for its Prosecco, but especially for its great Valpolicella reds and its powerful Amarone della Valpolicella, made from partially dried grapes before vinification. It is also famous for the sweet red wine, Recioto, the flagship of the appellation.

A natural wine is made from organic or biodynamic grapes, harvested by hand and vinified without chemical inputs. No yeast or additives are used, and sulfur is very limited. The wine thus fully reflects the terroir and the winemaker's work.
